I don’t think I’ve properly expressed my love for English Muffins. No seriously, there are so many ways a person can eat an English Muffins beyond the classic butter, peanut butter, or jelly. When I got married I discovered my husband’s favorite way to eat an English Muffins was with melted cheese and bacon. Yes, bacon. And yes, cheese. And the angels start sings! 🙂
Today, isn’t all about bacon and cheese. 🙂 I’m going to share with you 3 different ways you can eat an English Muffin. Today you’re going to see cheese, bacon, peanut butter, fruit, coconut, and chia seeds.
[Bacon and Cheese]
Bacon bits, 2 teaspoons (1 teaspoon per English Muffin half)
Cheddar cheese, 4 tablespoons (2 tablespoons per English Muffin half)
[Peanut Butter and Blueberries]
Peanut Butter (when I use peanut butter I don’t measure, but I think it comes out to about 2 tablespoons per muffin half)
Blueberries, enough for each English Muffin half (amount depends on how many you want)
[Banana, Honey, Coconut, and Chia Seed]
1/2 a banana, cut into thin slices
1 tablespoon of unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 a teaspoon of chia seeds
Honey, enough to drizzle
1- Slice English Muffins
2-Toast English Muffins (do this for all except the bacon and cheese)
Instructions: Bacon and Cheese
1-Turn on oven onto broil (I use high)
2-Place your sliced English Muffins on your cookie sheet.
3-Put cheese on each English Muffin half.
4-Put bacon bits on each English Muffin half.
5-Stick English Muffins in the oven and broil until the cheese is melted.
Instructions: Peanut Butter and Blueberries
1-Toast English Muffin
2-Place sliced English Muffin on plate and spread peanut butter on each half.
3- Stick blueberries on your newly peanut buttered English Muffins. You can get artistic like I did, but honestly I usually just throw them on.
Instructions: Banana, Honey, Coconut, and Chia Seed
1-Toast English Muffin
2-Place sliced English Muffin on plate and arrange sliced bananas. And yeah, you can makes things pretty or you can just get them on the English Muffin.
3- Sprinkle each bananaed English Muffin half with chia seeds and coconut flakes.
4-Drizzle each English Muffin half with chia seeds and coconut flakes.
